SiMPSON DiD iT!

...we UPSET our BiGGEST RiVAL, the Central Dutch in a nervewracking, but AMAZiNG football game last Saturday!

It was a COLD, COLD day, but the STORM was HOT...we went ahead 17-7; Central fought back to tie it (thankfully we held 'em to only a field goal) & the game went in to OT. We scored on a 2nd down 25 yard pass. Then on Central's 2nd down, STORM senior Tim Stover INTERCEPTED it to WiN 24-17! The fact that it was AT CENTRAL made the win even better.

I wish I could see the replay! :D

This was the PERFECT end to a 7-3 season & PERFECT beginning to a new SiMPSON STORM DOMiNATiON..it was very special for the seniors, the NEW coaching staff, the 8 SPiRiTED shirtless guys cheering on a freezing day, & the entire SiMPSON community.

I've SEEN That Guy!

it's small world folks!

I watched the 1st season of Last Comic Standing, but then haven't gotten into it since then, because so many reality shows are drawn out way too long & I lose interest. Well, last week I caught a preview of this season's final four...there he was, John Reep!! When I was a Simpson student, I was a member of CAB (Campus Activities Board) & each year we attended the NACA (Nat'l Assocation for Campus Activities) Conference to find the entertainment to bring back to campus. Well, John Reep was one of the comedians who performed there, so I got to see him in person & yes...funny guy! NACA was such a blAST because it's 3 days spent with a bunch of college students doing nothing but watching bands, hypnotists, comedians, magicians, dancers & even a human regurgitator (someone who can swallow things & spit it back up - he did this with a fish, which was still alive when it came back up)! Some of the acts have become famous...I'm not sure Simpson could afford John Reep anymore :P Not to mention, he's also known as "The Hemi Guy" from t.v. commercials - this is included in the video below. Check him out, he's quite AnimaTed...

More on CAB (the COOLEST Simpson organization you could be a part of!) ...
We met every Wednesday evening to discuss the FuN sTuFf we should have on campus, how sweet is that?! We were in charge of Stormy Nights - the weekend activities like $2 movies at the local movie theatre (new releases even - better bargain than a Salvation Army jacket!), Midnight Breakfast at Pfeiff-dawg on campus, hypnotists, bands, the Annual Stand Around (a big pArTy with music, food, & games the night everyone returns to campus in the
fall - it got the name because no one dances, they all "stand around" - Ha!), comedians for Hump Day Ha's (Wednesday nights), Survival BINGO (Simpson's most popular activity!) and other entertainment to keep the campus HaPpEnIn.' I LOVED it!!

What is the BEST part of all that, you ask?! ...IT'S ALL FREE FOR YOU! :)

Check out who has been @ Simpson in the past:

Bobby Lee (MADTV)
